The current club fleet offers a great opportunity and experience for all levels of pilots. A K13, two K21's, a DG505 Elan and two single seat Juniors currently provide a broad range of training from basic ab-initio through to advanced cross country flying.  It is also planned to expand the single seat range in the near future with one or maybe two new additions.

ASK13

Until very recently, the K13 was the backbone of our training fleet, but with the arrival of a second K21, students are likely to do a large amount of training on the newer K21's.  The K13 is an excellent workhorse for stall and spin training and all students will spend some very memorable flights in the K13 practicing these very necessary exercises.

ASK21

From ab-initio training through to aerobatics and cross country flying, the K21 is a very accomplished glider.   With higher performance and the ability to operate in a wider range of weather conditions than its older cousin the K13, the K21 is a superb all round training glider.  We currently have two on our fleet, HCX and KEK.

SZD Junior

This offers students their first taste of flying a single seat glider.  Roomy and comfortable (for most of us!) it is stable with a good performance. Students will build their hours on this glider as they head for their first recognised qualification, the "Bronze C" and will also be the glider in which early solo cross country flights will be made. We currently have two in our fleet, FZF and KHA.

DG505 Elan

This is our advanced two seat trainer that students use to extend their flying skills particularly cross country flying.  It is designed to travel considerable distances for a minimal loss of height!

Piper Pawnee

This single seat aircraft provides the club fleet with aerotow launches.  It is powerful and was originally designed as a robust crop spraying aircraft.  With its specially designed propeller, you will find a launch to 2000' will be very quick.
