Another busy day at North Hill, John Pursey our Duty Instructor took the briefing with a fairly long two-seater list ahead. However, achievements were completed: Richard Lean getting his yellow card, Arthur Lean now ready to fly in the Junior and Dan Hender flew 185km nearly getting to Salisbury, via the south coast. Andy Williams flew in with the Emeraude.
Thank you to Rob Hender who took the first turn of 4 hours on the winch and John Allen who did the afternoon shift, neither of whom flew.
Thank you also to Ian Mitchell for completing the inspection of HCX – and the team whom rigged it – just waiting for the paperwork from Schleicher now.
With the assistance of James Flory, Mark Courtney, Chris Warnes, and Dan Hender everyone on the list flew along with three First Flights and two Walk in flights, quite an achievement.
