Another rush to the grid for 8:30am, with briefing at 10:00am. A Tennis Task set for today. There is a line going East and West of Rufforth which forms the tennis net. You are the ball. To win a game of tennis you need the ball to cross the net at least 5 times to win a bonus of 50 points.

BBB (Chris Gill and John Pursey) and JZK (Dan and Sally Hender) launched at about 12:30pm, after a quick interview with ITV Yorkshire (to be shown on ITV Yorkshire tonight at 6pm).
JZK headed east zig zagging north and south to collect turn points, then we headed south to get the Humber Bridge sea crossing points. The south ahead didn’t look too appealing so we headed back north (considering Whitby, but deciding against it looking at the sky). We bimbled about earning OLC points finally returning to the club at 5pm after completing 300km.
BBB also achieved the sea crossing points then tried to head south getting as far as Gainsborough. Alan and JB jumped in the retrieve to follow them south, saw some wild geese on their chase and headed back to the airfield!! BBB returned north, landing back after what looked like it could be an interesting final glide. – Sally Hender
