With only about ten members present first thing, aerotow was the preferred launching method to ensure everyone had a worthwhile flight before rain stopped play. With our Duty tug pilot away in North Devon a big thank you must go to James Flory for getting the tug out instead of Victor Golf and providing everyone with aerotows which saved the day!
Steve Westlake arrived soon after we started flying and got out the second K21 which ensured that everyone who wished to get into the air had a 2000ft aerotow and an enjoyable flight.
By the end of the morning the launches were becoming a little boisterous, so with everyone flown, we packed up before the rain arrived and went in to enjoy one of Vicki’s excellent lunches.
Well done to everyone for some excellent teamwork! – JB
