The day started out with few club members but three Instructors! Mike Sloggett being assisted by James Flory and Simon Minson in the morning. With a straight southerly we set the launch point up in the NE corner of the Field. Mike Sloggett took his turn in Launch Control as no other loggers were around until Josh Howlett turned up, thanks Josh!
The wind gave rise to some interesting flights with the curl-over on the approach and launch – but the south ridge not working as well as hoped and thermals not fully-forming – flights were limited with the longest being 16 minutes.
With everyone flown the day had an early finish of 16:00 ensuring that eveyone got home for tea. – Benjie Pitts
