Thursday brought a good day of flying with a strong easterly wind straight down the strip and wave around Broadhembury and Kentisbeare.
A large number of members turned up as there had only been 1 flight on Wednesday due to the gusty rotor at the launchpoint.
After the long walk to the far end, flying started shortly after 11am.

There was lots of strong lift to be found in wave varying 2-4 knots up!
Longest flights:
Aerotow: Richard Lean & Ron Johns in the DG505 with 68 minutes
Winch: Nicholas Johnson in the Junior at 45 minutes.
Totals:
Hours- 10 hours 43 minutes of flying
Winch launches- 22
Aerotows- 18
Overall a very good day considering the weather conditions. – Jack Sewell
