Wednesday 7 January

With a positive message on the group chat for a day of flying, The gliders were readied for a fun day!

With a K21, Perkoz, DG505 and a Junior walked to the launch point, flying commenced. With a long solo list, the Junior (FZF) was put through it’s paces.

The weather forecast was sunny with clouds and a westnorthwest wind direction at 11 knots. With lift coming off the North Ridge.
The longest flight was 44 minutes achieved by Mark Layton and Ron Johns in the DG505.

On the training side of things, new Junior member Jayden Graves took the DG505 with Mark Courtney and managed to stay on the ridge for 40 minutes!

Jack Sewell and Don Gibbs continued training in the K21. Mike Horwood did some spin refresher training in Perkoz.
