The Blackdown Hills are a range of hills along the Somerset-Devon border in south-western England, which were designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1991.

Camping and Caravans
The Devon and Somerset Gliding Club does have space available for camping and caravans on the airfield for Members, but limited facilities. Please contact us if you wish to stay on the airfield during your visit.
Forest Glade Holiday Park - Only 10 minutes drive from North Hill, Forest Glade is a small, family-owned and run caravan and camping park. As well as modern 6 berth holiday caravans we also have pitches for your tourer, tent or motor home. Facilities on the park include a free indoor heated swimming pool, shop with off-licence and take away food as well as children's' play areas and a games room.

On the A373 Honiton to Cullompton road offers good food and is frequented by club members.
