The course week started with low cloud, but the forecast was set for it to lift quickly, so we had our briefing and got the gliders out!
By the time we were ready, we had full launches to 1200 feet! Thermal activity was challenging but, rewarding ,providing lift throughout the entire day.
Congratulations to Adam Smyth for converting to the Junior and continuing to stay up for over an hour!
Benjie had the longest flight in the Junior going just under 2 hours!
We stopped flying at about 5ish.
After most people had gone home, a few of us moved the logs to the shelter for tomorrow’s forecast of rain. – Jack Sewell
